Mocha Almond Fudge

October 6, 2024 by Shelly Leave a Comment

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole milk or your preferred variety)
  • 1/4 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup chocolate fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Additional chocolate fudge sauce (optional, for drizzling)
  • Additional chopped almonds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Brew your espresso or strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature.
    • Chop the almonds if they’re not already chopped.
  2. Blend the Milkshake:
    • In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, cooled espresso or coffee, and chocolate fudge sauce.
    • Blend until smooth and creamy. If the milkshake is too thick, you can add a bit more milk to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Add Almonds:
    • Add the chopped almonds to the blender and pulse a few times to mix them in without breaking them down completely. This gives the milkshake a nice texture with bits of almonds throughout.
  4. Serve:
    • Pour the milkshake into a tall glass.
  5. Optional: Top and Garnish:
    • Top with whipped cream, if desired.
    • Drizzle additional chocolate fudge sauce over the whipped cream.
    • Sprinkle more chopped almonds on top for extra crunch and flavor.
  6. Enjoy:
    • Serve immediately with a straw and a spoon for the whipped cream and fudge sauce!

Tips:

  • Ice Cream: For a richer milkshake, use high-quality vanilla ice cream.
  • Coffee: Adjust the amount of coffee or espresso based on how strong you want the mocha flavor.
  • Fudge Sauce: For homemade fudge sauce, you can use a simple recipe by melting chocolate with a bit of cream and sugar.

Enjoy your creamy, indulgent Mocha Almond Fudge Milkshake!
